TrapCall App Submitted To The Apple App Store

After months of development, we’re happy to announce that our TrapCall iPhone app has finally been submitted to Apple’s App Store!

TrapCall’s mobile apps will be a major benefit to new and existing customers alike, with easy access to call logs, voicemail transcriptions, blacklisting, support, and other account settings. We don’t want to give away everything that you can expect to see in the app, but we think it’s safe to say that you won’t be disappointed. Caller ID unblocking is about to get even easier!

Be sure to follow our RSS feed, Twitter or Facebook accounts for more special posts about the app over the next few weeks. Also, if you signed up to beta test one of our mobile apps, you’re likely to be hearing from us within the next week or two.

Update: 12/20/2010 – We are still waiting for Apple to approve the app…

Update: 3/31/2011 – Apple recently approved TrapCall for the App Store after 201 days in review. Please visit our Mobile Apps page, or the App Store, to download.

Update: 4/02/2012 – Apple has now decided to remove TrapCall from the App Store for an unknown reason!

Welcome To The New TrapCall.com

As you may have already noticed, today we’ve rolled out a completely redesigned TrapCall.com. Since our launch in February 2009, we’ve grown a lot as both a service and a company. TrapCall’s new design reflects this growth and our never-ending commitment to provide a great experience for our users.

trapcall.com v2.0

You’ll notice the navigation across the entire site has largely stayed the same, with the exception of the improved organization within the members dashboard. Yes, we’ve taken another stab at improving the logical breakdown of the menus so you can easily understand where things are, like call logs, account information, billing information, activation instructions and phone related settings. You’ll also notice that voicemails have been broken up from call logs and placed into their own section. No more sorting through missed call logs to find that important voicemail transcription from a week ago!

The new design contains many changes, but they all have one goal: making TrapCall even easier to use. We hope you enjoy using the new site and welcome your comments and feedback. (Be nice. Designers have feelings, too.)

For weeks now our developers have been secretly slaving away on TrapCall mobile apps and today we decided the time was right to give everyone a small taste of what’s in store for later this summer. TrapCall will be coming to the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms by the end of the summer. To say we’re excited about this is an understatement — we love mobile apps. And we think you’re going to love the app too, which we’ve given the internal codename: TrapApp.

If you’re as excited as we are, you’re in luck, because we’re looking for a few TrapCall users to help us do some real world beta testing before launch. If you’re interested in signing up to become a beta tester, fill out the form above and we’ll be in touch with a small number of you for each platform.
