I am a Private Investigator and Fugitive Recovery Agent. In July 2010 I was assigned the case of a young lady who had robbed a local drive thru restaurant in East Tennessee. She was arrested, then bailed out for a future court date. She never showed up for her court date, and she left the State. She was also a heavy drug user at the time and was spiraling out of control. The problem was, she also took her 4 year old daughter with her. This girl could barely look after herself, never mind a young child.
As the months past, I could not find them. The young child’s grandparents were becoming increasingly scared and fearful for their granddaughter. Their concern was that their daughter was so far gone in the depths of drugs that she might actually use their granddaughter as collateral for drugs. A similar story had just broken in Cocke county, East Tennessee where a man sold his young child for drugs.
We had no leads, the case was dead. Months later, out of nowhere, I received a call from a blocked number. I activated my Trap call line, and the number came back to California. It was a young man, he said he knew where this person was, and that he thought her child was in danger. After a minute or two, he said he had made a big mistake in calling me, and he hung up. Thankfully, through the power of Trap call, I had his number. I called him back and over several days gained his confidence to where he gave me the address of this fugitive and her daughter. He said he initially called the first time because he was concerned about the well being of the child, but then he also said that in his community, people just don’t “snitch”. He also stated that if I had not called him back when I did, he would never had called me again. I found the child 3600 miles away from her home. She was in Northern California living in a filthy run down trailer with her fugitive mother.
Now, with the help of Trap call, that 4 year old girl is thriving in the care of her loving grandparents back in her home in Tennessee.
I can quite frankly state that without the Trap Call technology, I may have never found that little girl.
